News - Marineland Shares History

06/01/2009:  Marineland shares some of its history.

The original “Mariner” served as internal communication to staff. It announced such things as “employee of the month” winner, facility celebrations, special events and other information. As an in-house source of information, this printed newsletter served as the communication backbone to the facility for decades.

Today, Marineland launches it’s highly anticipated e-newsletter named The Mariner-Marineland Edition. By sending out this publication, the facility hopes to connect with past, current and future guests.  Even though “The Mariner- Marineland Edition” doesn’t reach the same crowd as it’s predecessor, Marineland wants to share some of it’s history with subscribers, in a new way. Guests can click on links to learn more about interactive programs, events, area attractions and other interests. Articles about new programs, events, animals, and various topics can also be found.

The Dolphin Conservation Center at Marineland invites anyone interested in receiving the enewsletter to send an email to enews@marineland.net.
