Enhanced Immersion and Training Adventure

In this one of a kind program, the science of dolphin training meets the practicality of animal training.

Work with Marineland’s dolphin trainers, as well as professional dog trainers, to learn how to apply marine mammal training techniques to your at-home animal training practice. Spend the day learning from the trainers and assisting with dolphin training sessions to see how positive reinforcement-based training works with dolphins and how it can work with your four-legged friends as well.

Will it only be humans leading these training classes? Of course not! Marineland’s dolphin trainers will bring in their own dogs to help demonstrate training techniques - and during your program, you might even get a chance to see how positive reinforcement works on a variety of species as Marineland's partners just might bring some exotic animals to learn about.

ALL program participants will enter the water for an IMMERSION with the Dolphin Conservation Center dolphins. In this, our most popular experience, participants will enjoy time with the dolphins in the shallow water as well as the unique opportunity of swimming with them in deep water. Aided by mask and life vest, there is no better way than this to truly experience the grace and power of the bottlenose dolphin. Your phenomenal 30 minute dolphin encounter will reinforce the training techniques that you will learn throughout the day!

Participants under 13 years of age must be accompanied by a paying participating adult.

This program is co-presented by Marineland’s Dolphin Conservation Center and You Work, I’ll Play Dog Daycare and Training.
